Regional Distribution Ceremony


Lahore College for Women University successfully hosted the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme – Phase IV (Regional Distribution Ceremony) at Iqra Auditorium, LCWU, marking a significant milestone in promoting digital inclusion and youth empowerment. 
The ceremony was held under the gracious leadership of Prof. Dr. Uzma QuraishiVice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University, who hosted the event and reaffirmed LCWU’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, merit, and the empowerment of youth.The event highlighted the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif’s visionary youth initiatives to bridge the digital divide by awarding laptops to meritorious students, enabling them to strengthen their academic, research, and innovation capabilities. We were deeply honored by the esteemed presence of Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman, Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, as the Chief Guest of the ceremony. The occasion was further graced by distinguished Guests of Honor, including Mr. Rizwan Anwar, Special Representative to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Ms. Maha Jamil, Mr. Asfand Yar Naseer, Ms. Uzma Kardar (MPA), along with other respected parliamentarians and dignitaries. A special highlight of the ceremony was the Guard of Honor arranged by the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme for the meritorious laptop recipients, celebrating their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence. LCWU continues to play a pivotal role in nurturing empowered, skilled, and future-ready graduates, contributing meaningfully to Pakistan’s knowledge economy and digital future.
