Observance of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 18th June 2026
Under the patronage of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, The Executive Council of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) in collaboration with Directorate of Student Affairs observed the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking through an Awareness Walk on campus. The purpose of the activity was to raise awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free, healthy, and responsible society. Members of the student council actively participated in the walk, carrying awareness messages and demonstrating their commitment to the cause. The event highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in combating drug abuse and encouraging positive choices among youth.
