The Department of Political Science, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), in collaboration with Jagiellonian University, Poland, organized a seminar on 28th September 2026 titled “Security Challenges in South Asia.”

Prof. Dr. Agnieszka Kuszewska-Bohnert, Professor at the Institute of Middle and Far East, Jagiellonian University delivered an extension lecture. Then students and faculty members had an interactive session to explore the areas of mutual cooperation in the South Asian region. The event provided students with valuable insights into the complex security challenges facing South Asia and encouraged them to critically examine contemporary regional political and strategic issues. The session was informative, insightful, and thought-provoking, offering students an opportunity to enhance their learning beyond the classroom. Overall, the event was a meaningful academic experience that broadened students’ understanding of South Asian security dynamics and promoted critical thinking.
