To enhance the capabilities of women from various backgrounds and to equip them with essential skills to excel personally and professionally, An Awareness Session was conducted by Punjab Information Technology Board under the program named SheWins in Lahore College for Women University.
Dr. Shgufta Naz, Vice Chancellor, Lahore college for Women University, appreciated the initiatives taken by PITB and SheWins program to improve digital skills among female students and empower them to increase employability in job market. Ms. Mehreen Ahmad, Program Manager SheWins, PITB, along with Ms. Resham Jamshed, assistant program manager SheWins, PITB conducted the session and answered the questions raised by students.
The event was hosted by Dr. Maria Anjum, Focal Person, E-rozgaar Lab, LCWU along with Ms. Farha Saleem Qureshi and Dr. Barira Bakhtawar . The participants from various departments including computer science, electrical engineering, management sciences, psychology, English, homoiconic, bio informatics, zoology etc. attended the event with interest and asked questions regarding various trainning courses offered under SheWins program.
