Students of Geography Department visited to Hunza Valley, Gilgit, Baltistan

Department of Geography Lahore College for Women University with endless efforts of our co-incharge Geographical Society Ms. Amna Afzal (Lecturer) in collaboration with Altama Tracks and Tours, has organized a long study tour to Hunza Valley, Gilgit, Baltistan where students of Geography Department observed glacial features, riverine features and mountainous landscapes and they learnt about the Geography of Pakistan through the field observation. Students got a chance to visit Khunjerab Pass, a highest paved international border at an elevation of 4706m (15,439ft) above the sea level, located on the border of Pakistan and China.
