Workshop on XRD analysis, Rietveld refinement, X-Pert HighScore, and Diamond software: hands on training’

The Department of Physics, LCWU organized a comprehensive workshop on X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, Rietveld refinement, and hands-on training with X-Pert HighScore and Diamond software from August 27th to 29th, 2024. The event, spearheaded by Prof. Dr. Safia Anjum, Chairperson of the Department, aimed to enhance the analytical skills of participants. Students and faculty from LCWU's Physics and Chemistry departments, alongside participants from renowned institutions including CASP, GCU, CSSP, PU, UET, FC, and Kinnaird College, attended the workshop. The program focused on providing practical knowledge and expertise in materials characterization, benefiting both academic research and industrial applications.
