LCWU stands in support of Kashmir's quest for Freedom and Self-determination

The Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Shagufta Naz and the staff at Lahore College for Women University are observing Kashmir Solidarity Day, expressing steadfast support for the Kashmiris' just struggle for their inherent right to self-determination. The Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) is a globally recognized dispute, with its resolution firmly rooted in relevant UN Security Council (UNSC) Resolutions.

LCWU stands in solidarity with the young girls and women of Indian Occupied Kashmir, advocating for their denied freedom. It is imperative for the international community to hold India accountable for its egregious actions in IIOJK and strive for a fair and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in alignment with UN Security Council Resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
