April 25, 2025: The Department of Statistics, LCWU, organized an “Alumni Seminar” on April 25th, 2025. The event was organized to provide current students with valuable guidance and real-world perspectives, from guest alumna, Dr. Irum Sajjad Dar, Assistant Professor, College of Statistical Sciences, University of the Punjab, Lahore, who shared her profound insights and experiences, inspiring the audience with her journey from the hallowed halls of academia to the demanding world of professional life. The Alumni Relation Officer, Dr. Afifa, then delivered her inaugural address, emphasizing the seminar's significance in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, highlighting the invaluable opportunity for students to learn from the successes and challenges faced by their predecessors. At last, The HOD, Dr. Asifa Kamal and Dr. Afifa present a bouquet and certificate of appreciate to the resource person, as a token of gratitude and recognition for her time and contribution to seminar.
