Three-Day Workshop on “Unlocking Data Insights with Python: From Basics to Analytics”
March 10, 12, 13, 2025: The Research and Development (R&D) section of DFDI, in collaboration with Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis LISA-LCWU, successfully organized a three-day workshop “Unlocking Data Insights with Python: From Basics to Analytics” on March 10th, 12th and 13th, 2025. The event aimed to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in the programming language, which is becoming increasingly vital in research across a wide range of disciplines.Dr. Sehar Saleem and Ms. Noor Shahid, Lecturers at Department of Statistics, LCWU, served as resource persons for the workshop. A significant number of faculty members from LCWU and other institutions, along with students, attended the workshop. The workshop proved highly beneficial for both students and academic researchers by introducing them to one of the most versatile and widely used programming languages in data analysis, machine learning, and research automation. Participants gained practical skills in coding, data manipulation, and visualization tools essential for modern research and academic projects. By integrating Python into their workflow, attendees can enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reproducibility of their academic work. In concluding ceremony of workshop, Prof. Dr. Zohra Nazir Kayani, director DFDI, presented certificates and appreciated the efforts of team R&D.
