SPACE CAMP in Collaboration with SUPARCO 2025 at LCWU

Space Camp 2025 – Day 1 Highlights | September 16, 2025

Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), in collaboration with the Space Research Center at UCP and SUPARCO RESOLVE, proudly inaugurated Space Camp 2025 today.

The esteemed Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi inaugurated the camp and warmly welcomed faculty and participants to LCWU, one of Pakistan’s most prestigious universities. Dr. Waseem, Director RESOLVE at SUPARCO, then delivered a thought-provoking presentation on the future of space research and its transformative potential.

The day continued with hands-on sessions where participants explored satellite design, mission planning, and integration under the guidance of experienced space scientists and trainers.

Space Camp 2025 – Day 2 Highlights | September 17, 2025

Day 2 at Lahore College for Women University, in collaboration with the Space Research Center and SUPARCO RESOLVE, was dedicated to empowering hands-on training. Students engaged in satellite design, assembly and mission planning, showing how a women’s university is preparing the next generation to lead Pakistan’s future in space science. Space Camp 2025 – Day 3 Highlights | September 18, 2025


SpaceCampatLCWU2.jpg - 382.65 kBORIC-LCWU, in collaboration with SUPARCO’s Space, RESOLVE, and the Space Research Center (SRC-UCP), successfully concluded the third and final day of Space Camp 2025. Over the past three days, students were immersed in hands-on training on satellite subsystems through the EYASSAT kit and advanced to designing, assembling, and launching their first satellite prototypes using CANSAT exploration kits.SpaceCampatLCWU3.jpg - 370.48 kB
Day 3 was marked by the successful launch of student-built satellites, demonstrating the practical application of knowledge gained during the camp. The closing ceremony was graced by LCWU’s esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, who attended as Chief Guest. In her address, she applauded the students’ commitment to STEM learning and highlighted LCWU’s role in empowering women to lead in Pakistan’s space future.
