Session on “Education to Employment "

Department of Sociology, LCWU organized an advocacy session on the theme “From Education to Employment: Strengthening Social and Emotional Skills in Youth". The session started with the Holy name of Allah and the national anthem. The session focused on how young minds can bridge the gap between education and employment through personal growth and emotional intelligence. The distinguished guest speakers, Mr. Salman Abid, Executive Director of IDEA, and Ms. Mahwah, motivated students through their thought-provoking talks on youth empowerment, leadership, and emotional development and career growth.
Dr. Asma Seemi Malik, In-Charge Department of Sociology, extended heartfelt thanks to the guest speakers for sharing their knowledge, expertise, and excellence with the young learners. She also acknowledged the valuable contribution of Dr. Kiran Ikram and Ms. Komal Riaz Cheema for their dedicated efforts and thoughtful organization that ensured the success of this insightful session.
Students of the Department of Sociology participated enthusiastically and expressed that It was truly a day of learning, inspiration, and motivation, helping students bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world skills. At the end of the session in-charge Department of Sociology and presented souvenirs to the esteemed guests.
