Lahore: A1 Lab organized a free Hepatitis B and C screening camp for the faculty, staff, and students of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Monday, 6th October 2025. The health screening camp was successfully conducted under the patronage of Vice Chancellor LCWU, Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi.
The camp took place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Ganga Ram Building, LCWU, where a large number of faculty members and students availed themselves of free screening tests.
This healthy initiative was jointly arranged by Dr. Zahra Nazir Kiyani, Director, Directorate of Faculty Development & Internationalisation; Dr. Afifa Khanum, Head, Faculty Development Centre (FDC); Dr. Hafsa Batool; and Dr. Hafsa tul Uzma, Medical Officer, LCWU.
The screening camp was organized with the support of Mian Muhammad Waqas, CEO of A1 Lab, and Mr. Azmat Javed, CEO of Grand Group. The main objective of the camp was to raise health awareness and ensure the well-being of LCWU’s faculty and students.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi appreciated this initiative and emphasized the importance of awareness, prevention, and timely health screening. She stated that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting a healthy academic environment.
The active participation of faculty members and students contributed to the success of the camp. The university administration also expressed its commitment to organizing similar health initiatives in the future.
