Panel discussion on 16 Days of Activism was held at LCWU

Panel discussion on 16 Days of Activism was held at Lahore College for Women University on December 7, 2021.

 The first discussion was entitled "End Violence Against Women " as per one of the SDGs' main goals, gender equality.

 

The first discussion was organized by the Department of Gender and Development Studies, LCWU in collaboration with the National Commission on the Status of Women, Women's Association, APWA College, and the Government of Punjab.

Special participation was of Vice-Chancellor Lahore College for Women University Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza and the chairperson of National Commission on Status of Women Punjab Roohi Saeed.

 Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Head of Department of Gender Studies Dr. Uzma Ashiq, Head of Department of Sociology Dr. Asma Seemi, Maryam Batool, Samina Riaz, Fareeha Anjum, Dr. Ayesha, and other faculty members and students participated.
