The Department of Gender and Development Studies, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club Garden, Lahore, organized an Awareness Seminar on Breast Cancer on October 23, 2025. 

 Guest Speaker: Prof. Rubina Sohail, renowned gynecologist, enlightened the audience with valuable insights on:

·         Understanding breast cancer causes and prevention

·         Importance of early detection and treatment

·         Busting common myths and misconceptions about breast cancer 

The seminar aimed to promote awareness, encourage regular screening, and empower women to take charge of their health.
