LCWU Hosts and Wins 2025 HEC/PUSB All-Pakistan Intervarsity Women’s Basketball Championship”
Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) successfully organized the All Pakistan HEC/PUSB Intervarsity Women’s Basketball Championship 2025, featuring 18 university teams from across Pakistan.
The championship was held from 10–14 November 2025 at LCWU and followed a knockout format, showcasing competitive matches and exceptional performances by women athletes from various institutions.
After thrilling semifinal rounds, the final match was played between LCWU and LGU, where LCWU clinched the title with an impressive victory of 41–21, securing the 2025 Championship on their home court.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Vice Chancellor LCWU, Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, who congratulated the winning team and appreciated the efforts of all participating universities. Organizing Secretary and Director Sports, Dr. Sumera Sattar, also lauded the hard work and sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament.
LCWU proudly upholds its tradition of excellence in women’s sports by becoming the national champions once again.
