Lahore College for Women University proudly hosted the Torch Relay Ceremony of the 35th National Games on 27th November 2025, celebrating the true spirit of sportsmanship and Olympic tradition.
The ceremony began with CEO Punjab Olympics, Mr. Khawaja Idrees Haider, accompanied by Olympian Ms. Faiqa Riaz, who brought the prestigious torch to LCWU and presented it to our Worthy Vice Chancellor.
In a symbolic gesture of unity and excellence, the Vice Chancellor passed the torch to the international athletes further honoring LCWU’s commitment to promoting peace through sports and upholding the Olympic values of 'Respect, Friendship, and Excellence'.
Director Sports, Dr. Sumera Sattar, then handed over the torch to the Secretary, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, marking another significant moment of collaboration and celebration.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from national and international athletes showcasing Pakistan’s passion for sports and its vibrant athletic community.
LCWU is proud to contribute to reviving the Olympism and strengthening the legacy of sports in Pakistan.
