The Inauguration Ceremony of the laboratory at the Independent Living Center (ILC) was held today in collaboration with the NGO Vision without Barriers. The ceremony was organized by Dr. Ibtasam Thakur, In-Charge, Independent Living Center (ILC), and Head of the Department of Special Education, LCWU.The Vice Chancellor’s dynamic and inclusive leadership was highly appreciated on this occasion. Her visionary support has played a vital role in removing institutional and social barriers for students with special needs and in transforming the learning environment at ILC into a more accessible and empowering space. The special students of LCWU paid tribute to the Vice Chancellor and expressed their gratitude for elevating their standard of learning. Special appreciation was extended to Vision without Barriers for their generous contribution in establishing the computer laboratory and renovating the Independent Living Center. Their support has significantly enhanced opportunities for digital learning, skill development, and independent living training for special students.The ceremony concluded with gratitude to all stakeholders.
