12th February 2026: under the kind guidance and support of the worthy Vice Chancellor, the Department of History collaborated with TDCP-ITHM to commence their 3-month certificate training in Culinary Arts at TDCP, Lahore. The certificate training is conducted by TDCP  under the auspices of the Government of the Punjab's Women Development Department through the Sehr Program.  

Students from the History Department registered and marked their biometric attendance, ensuring discipline, transparency, and dedication towards skill development. 

This initiative is a step towards building confidence, creativity, and professional growth in the world of hospitality.

Beyond the classroom, students are supported in their training journeys, travelling safely through the free pick and drop transport facility provided by TDCP-ITHM from LCWU, making skill development more accessible, safe and convenient.
