The Department of Social Work organized a seminar on 15 April 2026, in collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation, on the topic “To See the Ability in Disability.” The seminar particularly focused on autism awareness, inclusion, and recognizing the strengths of individuals with special needs. 
Distinguished speakers including Ms. Mehwish, Managing Director of Autism Resource Center, Sir Hamza Khan Sherwani, a renowned psychologist and psychedelic abstract artist, and Dr. Memona Asif, Associate Professor of Optometry, public health professional, autism advocate, and mother of a child with autism, shared their valuable insights and experiences. 
Their contributions highlighted the importance of community support, education, and empowerment for individuals with autism and their families. This activity of the department relate to the SDG NO: 3 (Health & Well-being).
