April 23, 2026: The CEGA – Centre of Excellence in Gaming and Animation roadshow was successfully held at Lahore College for Women University, facilitated by the Centre for Career Counseling and Job Placement (CCJP).The CEGA team, Ms. Dua Tahir and Mr. Abbas Khan, introduced students to six free courses, including Production, Pre-Production, Post Production, Unreal Engine, Unity 3D and 3D Animation, currently open for applications, while also sharing valuable insights into career prospects in the rapidly growing fields of gaming and animation. They highlighted diverse opportunities ranging from game development and 3D modeling to animation, design, and freelancing, along with additional facilities such as free co-working spaces.CEGA is funded by the Ministry of IT & Telecom and led by HUM TV Network.

Students from the Departments of Computer Science and Graphic Design enthusiastically participated in the session, showing great interest in the exciting opportunities offered by CEGA.
