LCWU Signs MoU with Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry 

Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Vice Chancellor of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) to strengthen industry–academia linkages. 

The MoU was signed on 2nd July 2026 at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry premises in Lahore by Mr. Faheem-ur-Rehman Sehgal, President LCCI, and Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Vice Chancellor LCWU. 

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Rana Shaban Akhtar, Ms. Amna Randhawa, and Mr. Umar Saleem from LCCI. Representing LCWU were Prof. Dr. Saima Sharif, Director ORIC; Dr. Ayesha Siddiqua; Dr. Faiza Iftikhar Director KBIC; Dr. Ayesha Khalil; Dr. Moneeba Iftikhar; and Dr. Hafsa Batool, focal person for LCCI and LCWU. 

The collaboration aims to provide students with improved training opportunities, industrial exposure, and market-oriented career pathways. It also reflects LCWU’s continued commitment to empowering women through strong and sustainable industry partnerships.
