Students of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) from the Departments of Gender and Development Studies, TESOL, International Relations, and Economics & Finance attended the five-day “Human Rights Fundamentals” short course held at the Shaista Ikramullah Human Rights Education Centre (SIHREC), Lahore. Organized under the Huquq-e-Pakistan II initiative by UNDP Pakistan, the European Union, and the Global Campus of Human Rights, the course was facilitated by Dr. Mike Hayes, Director, Global Campus Asia-Pacific. It focused on key international human rights treaties and their application in Pakistan through interactive learning, case studies, policy debates, and practical exercises.
