Webinar “From Pakistan Movement to Maarka-i-Haq: Pakistan’s Journey of Nationhood, Sovereignty and National Resilience.” 20th August 2026 

A webinar was held on 20th August 2026 by the Department of Political Science (LCWU), to address the theme “From Pakistan Movement to Maarka-i-Haq: Pakistan’s Journey of Nationhood, Sovereignty and National Resilience.” The webinar brought together faculty members and students to deliberate on critical issues while envisaging historical and analytical perspectives. The distinguished guest speaker, Prof. Dr. Naumana Kiran from the Department of History and Pakistan Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore, delivered an insightful and informative talk. With her expertise in Pakistan’s history, politics, constitutional development, and political institutions, she provided valuable thoughts into the evolution of Pakistan’s nationhood and the challenges associated with sovereignty and national resilience. Prof. Dr. Naumana Kiran highlighted important historical and political dimensions of Pakistan’s journey, encouraging students to understand the significance of national unity, sovereignty, and resilience in the contemporary era.  The webinar concluded with an interactive question--answer session, where participants engaged with the speaker and raised questions related to the discussion.
