Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), through its Department of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Unique International Educational Services (Private) Limited and The Spirit School to strengthen university–school collaboration.
The collaboration will benefit students from all disciplines and departments of LCWU, providing them with internship opportunities tailored to their academic expertise, interests, and professional needs.
Through these internships, students will gain practical exposure in diverse areas, including curriculum development, textbook development and review, instructional material development, and teaching practicum.
The partnership will also facilitate professional development workshops, seminars, training sessions, and capacity-building activities, enabling students to apply their academic knowledge in real-world professional settings.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, while enhancing students’ practical skills, professional competencies, employability, and career readiness, in line with LCWU’s commitment to quality education, student empowerment, and meaningful engagement with society and industry.
