The Department of Visual Arts, Institute of Design and Visual Arts (IDVA), Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), inaugurated its Degree Show 2026 on September 28, 2026. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Worthy Vice Chancellor, LCWU, while Ms. Qudsia Rahim, Co-Founder and Executive Director, Lahore Biennale Foundation, attended as Guest of Honour.

The exhibition presents the creative and research-based achievements of graduating students in Painting, Miniature Painting, Ceramics, and Calligraphy. The artworks were supervised by Dr. Rabia Yaseen, Dr. Sidra Liaqat, Dr. Sobia Maqsood and Mr. Shiblee Muneer. Faculty supervisors emphasized the students’ journey towards developing independent visual languages and translating traditional practices into contemporary forms. Permanent art installation were supervised by Ms. Rehana Salman and Ms. Roohi Jamal.

The exhibition will remain open until October 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
