An awareness session titled Gender-Responsive Punjab: Gender Mainstreaming in Development Planning and Punjab’s ADP” was conducted on 1st October, 2026 at the Women Development Centre, LCWU. The session was facilitated by Dr. Faheem Akhtar, Manager (Projects/Initiatives), Women Development Department, Government of the Punjab. Students from various departments of LCWU attended the session, which was facilitated and coordinated by students of the Department of Gender and Development Studies. In this session, the facilitator talked about gender mainstreaming and briefly highlighted the projects of Women Development Department, Punjab.
