As the first initiative under the MoU between Lahore College for Women University and The Spirit School, half of the Semester 7 students of the Department of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), LCWU, have commenced their internships at different campuses of The Spirit School in Lahore.
Prior to their campus placements, the students underwent two days of training and orientation at the Head Office, conducted by the Director Academics and other Master Trainers.
The internship provides students with valuable hands-on, practicum-based experience in teaching, lesson planning, classroom management, and the practical application of TESOL knowledge.
This initiative reflects LCWU’s commitment to strengthening industry–academia linkages and aligns with the University’s vision and mission by connecting academic learning with professional practice and enhancing students’ teaching competencies and employability.
