The closing ceremony of the solo exhibition titled "Auj-e-Kamal" by Dr. Rabia Shaukat, Faculty Member of Textile Design Department, LCWU was held at Punjab University.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. Dr. Samina Nasim, Principal, College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab.

The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor, LCWU as Chief Guest . Dr. Rafia Tahir, Former Registrar, UHE and Dr. Aisha Siddiqa, Chairperson, Textile Design Department were also present.The solo show presented a remarkable collection highlighting the cultural heritage of South Punjab, featuring artwork representing 6 districts of South Punjab.The exhibition was distinguished by its incredible craftsmanship, showcasing different types of hand embroidery stitches. Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi and Prof.Dr.Samina Nasim (Principal PUCAD) highly appreciated Dr. Rabia Shaukat dedicated work and artistic vision in preserving and reinterpreting traditional embroidery techniques.
